When I was younger I didn't think of golf as a game. It was more tidying up by putting balls in to holes. How wrong could I have been, now that I am totally smitten by the game. I remember poo pooing the game to a friend when he persuaded me to give it a shot.

From the first swing of my pal's Callaway driver that was it. I was a new golf junkie and I wanted to eat, sleep and talk golf to anyone that would stand and listen.
